Information Shared with Third-Party Service Providers

Donations and Donorbox

Our website includes an embedded donation form provided by Donorbox.

IHH does not store your complete payment-card information on our website servers.

Immigration Story Submissions

The Immigrant Hall of Honor is a storytelling and historical project. Information submitted through our Storytelling Project may contain personal, family, historical, and immigration information that you choose to share.

When you submit a story, we may collect your name, email address, telephone number, preferred public name or pseudonym, story or interview, photographs, and other materials you choose to provide.

Story contributors are asked to provide consent before their stories and photographs are used.

The consent associated with our Storytelling Project provides IHH with a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce, publish, display, distribute, and otherwise use contributed stories or interviews for historical, educational, archival, museum, outreach, promotional, fundraising, and research purposes. These uses may include printed materials, exhibitions, audio/video presentations, social media, marketing materials, and the internet.

Contributors have an opportunity to review and approve their story before it is placed in the public repository.

A contributor may request that a story be removed from the IHH website by contacting marketing@immigranthallofhonor.org. Removal from the website does not require IHH to recall or destroy materials that have already been printed, distributed, exhibited, or otherwise used, or copies that have been shared or reproduced by others.

Please consider carefully what personal information you include in a story or other submission. Once a story has been approved and published, information contained in that story may become publicly accessible.

Email and Marketing Preferences

If you voluntarily sign up for IHH email communications, we will use your contact information to send the communications you requested.

You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by:
