I, the narrator and/or author, contribute my written story or oral history interview to the Immigrant Hall of Honor’s Storytelling Project (the “Project”). I retain ownership of my copyright and grant the Project a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to reproduce, publish, display, distribute, and otherwise use my story or interview, in whole or in part, for historical, educational, archival, museum, outreach, promotional, fundraising and research purposes. Such uses may include printed materials, exhibitions, audio/video presentations, social media, marketing materials and the Internet.

I grant the Project the right to use my name and likeness in connection with these purposes. I confirm that I own or have permission to use any photos, images, artwork or other materials I submit, and I give the Project permission to use them with my story or interview.

I understand that I will have the opportunity to review and approve my story before it is placed in the repository and made available to the public. Once approved, the Project may make my story and/or interview available for public access and research.

I may request that my story be removed from the Project’s website in the future, should my situation change, by contacting marketing@immigranthallofhonor.org. I understand that such a request does not require the Project to recall or destroy materials already printed, distributed, exhibited, or otherwise used, or copies that have been shared or reproduced by others.
